{"id":31,"date":"2011-03-10T23:13:37","date_gmt":"2011-03-11T04:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tecchief.net\/blog\/?p=31"},"modified":"2011-03-10T23:13:37","modified_gmt":"2011-03-11T04:13:37","slug":"sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-mini-e10i-cm6-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.tecchief.net\/blog\/2011\/03\/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-mini-e10i-cm6-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini (E10i) + CM6.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m well aware of just how old this phone and how inappropriate it is to review it so late, but I just got it, and it&#8217;s only been commercially available since July 10.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The phone itself has been billed as the smallest Android powered phone in the world and with these specs, it&#8217;s easily believable.<\/p>\n<p>The phone rather sluggishly under the power of its own Launcher, however once I dropped\u00a0 LauncherPro on there,\u00a0 very snappy. This phone is reacting the way I&#8217;d expect the full size Xperia to.<\/p>\n<p>However,\u00a0 I love phones and since I&#8217;m never content with stock, I&#8217;ve\u00a0 had to go ahead and drop Cyanogenmod 6.1. Let is be said for the record, there is a CM7 version that I will likely try if no other reason that just the fact it&#8217;s called &#8220;Gigglebread&#8221;.\u00a0 Only regret about going to CM6.1 for this phone is that I lost access to some Sony Ericsson exclusives that I was looking forward to playing with &#8220;Timescape, Mediascape, and TrackID&#8221;. But so far this little tyke is definitely exceeding expectations.\u00a0 Unfortunately i can&#8217;t give it a full test as it&#8217;s GSM\/GPRS phone and my primary is Sprint(CDMA\/WiMAX).
